Custom fit tool for Springfield's 3.5" barrel Prodigy
Allows disassembly and reassembly without need to hold slide against spring pressure.

The SA-Prod35 tool is designed to be inserted from the underside of the guide rod and uses a magnet to hold the tool in place while the slide is in the lock back position. The wire handle facilitates easier insertion and removal of the tool, even for larger hand individuals.
The supplied factory takedown tool clips on the guide rod and provides the clearance to remove the recoil assembly from the slide.
However it is impractical to place the tool on the guide rod without removing the slide and compressing the guide rod to accept the tool.
Note: The SSH-2024 Slide Stop Horn will not work on Springfield's Prodigy models.
